Witch Cabin delivers a thoughtful track with a distinctive mood and an inviting sense of atmosphere. “We Want Connection” gives listeners room to settle into its sound, making it a compelling feature for Empire Radio Magazine. One more unforgettable musical moment could make the song hit even harder.
"WE WANT CONNECTION": MORE THAN JUST A SONG
One of Witch Cabin's defining releases of 2026 is her single "We Want Connection," released February 24.
The record explores a subject that resonates with today's generation: the growing difficulty of establishing meaningful relationships in an increasingly digital world.
Built around atmospheric synthesizers, pulsating basslines, and haunting vocal arrangements, the song combines the energy of underground dance music with the emotional depth of alternative pop.
Its message examines the contradiction between wanting genuine human connection and fearing the vulnerability that comes with it.
Written, performed, and produced by Witch Cabin, with additional production contributions from Liz Maniscalco, the record showcases her ability to balance creative independence with collaboration.
The single also received a reported perfect 10/10 evaluation during Roc Nation's Mic Madness showcase with Chris Tyson, helping introduce her work to additional industry audiences.
But beyond recognition, the record represents something more personal: an artist finding her voice while questioning how people communicate, connect, and protect themselves emotionally.
